In the spirit of preserving the unique history of this town- October 26, 2005 - The Farms of Jacksonville dedicates this historic structure to the city of Jacksonville. This farmhouse with a modest past is forever preserved with this dedication. Its simple architectural style served well as inspiration for the design of the Farms of Jacksonville and it is with gratitude that we welcome this building into its new life from residence to the community gathering place. |
 
Appliances –

Cabinets – IKEA AKURUM cabinets are made of sturdy 0.7in board (substantially thicker than most) with white melamine foil for a hard-wearing, moisture-proof and scratch-resistant finish. 
Fireplaces – SPARK Modern Fires is redefining the gas fireplace industry. Providing a long-awaited design update to a classic fixture, SPARK's clean, elegant design is reinstating the gas fireplace as a choice for the modern home. 
Oak Hardwood Floors –DANSK offers a color choice of Arrowhead or Weathered Mask. DANSK Hardwood is "real oak hardwood flooring" that is carefully selected for its natural beauty, uniqueness and individual characteristics. 
Plumbing and Hardware –The products selected for The Farms of Jacksonville were a collaborative effort of the design team, the developer, the builder, and the teamas the supplier. 
Carpeting –KARASTAN Sisaltec II Cr笥 is a woven broadloom with a surface appearance of Textured heathered loop. It is constructed with skein dyed Antron Legacy Nylon and has the Dura Tech Soil Release Technology protective treatment.

of carpet installed at The Farms of Jacksonville from the Karastan

A linear central courtyard featuring two water features reminiscent of farm amenities serves as the heart of the community and unifies the essence of the country life. Virtual Tour
As source of inspiration for The Farms of Jacksonville, the historic
farmhouse built in the late 1800s, the only existing structure
on site, serves as the Community Center for residents of The Farms.
This center is a place of gathering for residents and the surrounding
community and will be used for events, artists in residence, family
visitors, or just simply conversation around the fireplace. On
October 25, 2005, Sebren Development, Inc. dedicated the Community
Center to the City of Jacksonville. Mayor James Lewis accepted
the dedication bronze on behalf of the City. The Community Center
will serve as the sales office temporarily while the construction
of the project is being completed. All of the interior features
of the Community Center will highlight those that will be included
in the town homes.
